Corporate / Educational Roleplay
One of the most effective ways to hone a skill or learn a new one is by putting that skill into practice in a low-risk environment. In a business setting, this is most successfully accomplished by using professional roleplay actors.
Our actors are professionally trained and highly experienced in improvisation, so they are realistic and flexible in any role-play situation, giving a much stronger impact to the training than in-house role playing can provide. An added benefit of using actors is that they can give poignant and effective feedback. Actors are trained to be highly observant to their emotions and surroundings.
For years, Chicago Improv Associates has supplied the Illinois Police with role-play actors for their Crisis Intervention Trainings, portraying people in mental crisis. Another client is Linkage, who uses our professional improvisers for their Coaching Leaders Certification Program. Our improvisers have role-played as actual employees so managers could practice giving yearly reviews to trouble employees, for situational safety training, and as medical patients, to name a few roles/scanarios.
Roleplay Actors can be used in any training scenario, including:
- Customer Service training
- Management Skills
- Interpersonal Skills
- Conflict Resolution
- Coach training
- Diversity
- Sexual Harassment issues
